Estate Administration Paralegal
LHH is seeking an experienced Estates Administration Paralegal to join a growing Trusts & Estates practice. This role involves managing probate and estate administration matters, supporting attorneys with estate settlements, and maintaining strong client communication.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with all aspects of estate administration, including probate and trust administration
Prepare and file probate documents (petitions, inventories, accountings, court filings)
Manage collection, valuation, and distribution of estate assets
Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and government agencies
Prepare and review estate tax returns and related filings
Draft legal documents, correspondence, and agreements
Maintain organized estate files and ensure compliance with legal requirements
Track deadlines and manage case timelines
Support trust administration, including preparing accountings and funding documents
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in estate administration, probate, or related legal field
Strong knowledge of probate laws, trust administration, and estate planning principles
Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and court filings
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Familiarity with legal software (experience with Lackner is a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification
