GNR - Global Network Recruiting is seeking a Director of Business Development with a proven history in selling critical systems to NAVY/NAVSEA/NAVSUP customers. The role involves targeting and capturing new business while cultivating existing relationships for new products and aftermarket services.

Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, qualify, and capture new business & potential partnerships + manage existing accounts
Take proposals full-life cycle, lead & collaborate with other functional leaders in drafting winning proposals RFP / RFQ / IDIQs
Capture customer needs (VOC), stay updated on current technologies & products to guide and build upon company’s success
Report to Senior / Executive leadership team on the DoD NAVY initiatives, funding, service needs, and market trends
Monitor and track defense spending, specific to NAVY awards and demands
Work with in-house Marketing to create content for presentations to new customers & tradeshows
Travel 20 – 50% domestic & International – Corp Headquarters, customers, trade shows, conferences etc
US Citizenship required + ability to obtain DoD clearance

Required

MUST HAVE a minimum of 5 years Business Development experience for NAVY / NAVSEA / NAVSUP products & services
