Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions
Prepare legal motions, briefs, and other pleadings in accordance with court rules and deadlines
Take depositions, prepare deposition summaries, and analyze deposition testimony for case strategy
Review legal documents and conduct legal research to support case development and strategy
Qualification
Required
1-4 years of experience as a lawyer
Ability to manage all aspects of written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions
Proven experience in preparing legal motions, briefs, and other pleadings in accordance with court rules and deadlines
Experience in taking depositions, preparing deposition summaries, and analyzing deposition testimony for case strategy
Competence in reviewing legal documents and conducting legal research to support case development and strategy
Must be a member and in good standing with the Texas State Bar (U.S. JD required)
Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work both as part of a team and independently with appropriate supervision
Willingness to occasionally provide after hours, overtime, and weekend support, if need
