Sr Human Resources Generalist

Force America is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist responsible for assisting in the daily functions of the Human Resources department. The role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance while promoting a collaborative employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Support recruitment process including job postings, sourcing, interviews, and onboarding for open positions within the company
Works with leaders to develop short and long-range recruitment strategies to meet business needs now and in the future
Assist leaders with employee relations situations, address grievances, mediate conflicts and promote a positive environment and culture
Assists with oversight and daily administration of HR programs including but not limited to: benefit programs, retirement plans, medical, dental, leave of absence, COBRA, FMLA, Affirmative Action Programs and disability programs
Assists with providing timely and courteous responses to internal customers with questions, policy interpretation, problem resolution as well as enforcing and complying with all applicable policies, procedures and regulations
Assist in development and implementing performance management systems
Provide advanced HR Generalist support for overall HR Administration, payroll, benefits and Recruiting as needed
Assists with Leave administration for company
Work with school relationship development to support ongoing recruitment efforts
Assists with compliance with all state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resource matters including reporting
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business or equivalent combination of education and experience
4-6 years advanced HR generalist experience
Strong attention to detail, customer service, and organizational skills
Thorough knowledge and experience of general HR practices and procedures and the interdependence between payroll, benefits, compensation, recruitment and HR functions in a business
Strong analytical abilities and ability to work independently to complete tasks thoroughly
Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential topics with tact and diplomacy
Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Co-Pilot, PPT, Excel) and HRIS system (ADP preferred)

PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification
