Responsibilities

This is a temporary role during maternity coverage till March of 2026

Concept, and design product from start to finish including new artwork and hardware development

Create prints, graphics, embroidery and embellishment layouts for handbags, accessories and patches

Partner with our Founders and design team to develop and refine seasonal concepts, materials, hardware, and color palette for handbag/accessories collections

Ensure information is handed off to the product development by collection-driven deadlines

Responsible for upholding design integrity and high quality execution

Study trends, shop markets, and interact with consumer to identify the best possible design and construction solutions

Must be flexible with the ability to self-manage and handle multiple priorities at once

Sketching ability (Adobe Illustrator)

Work responsibilities frequently concern confidential and/or sensitive information requiring the use of discretion at all times

Minimum 3-5 years of experience designing handbags and/or small accessories

Ability to sketch both technical drawings in Adobe Illustrator

Understanding of materials, hardware, leather, and handbag construction required

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

Hybrid schedule 4 days in NY office

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
