Assist with computational analysis for metagenomic studies under close supervision
Learn and apply existing algorithms for taxonomic classification and phylogenetic analysis
Support the development of bioinformatics pipelines and tools
Perform data processing and quality control for genomic datasets
Contribute to functional annotation and comparative analysis of metagenomic samples
Participate in lab meetings and learn research methodologies
Assist with training materials and documentation for lab protocols
Qualification
Required
Degree in computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics, mathematics, or related field
Coursework or project experience in bioinformatics or computational biology
Basic programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
Willingness to learn new computational tools and methods
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
