Responsibilities
Own outcomes. Define and drive initiatives that grow DAU through improvements in activation, habit formation (DV7/DV30), and frequency
Practice source-driven product sense. Triangulate problems and opportunities from multiple explicit sources: + Quant (funnels, N-day retention, sequencing, event pathing, frequency distribution) + Qual (UXR, diary studies, support tickets, App/Play reviews) + Market/competitive teardowns and adjacent-product patterns + Exploratory instrumentation and baseline data scrapes
Tell stories with data. Communicate crisp narratives that connect user problems → experiment design → observed outcomes → roadmap decisions
Be world-class at execution velocity. Increase throughput of high-quality experiments, reduce “time to learning,” minimize inconclusive tests, and scale wins through playbooks and reusable components
Design habit loops. Collaborate with Design on surfaces that reduce perceived effort, increase felt competence, and create repeatable micro-delight moments
