Responsibilities

Stormwater design
Watershed permitting
Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
FEMA studies using state-of the-art technology
Preparation of design drawings
Producing design calculations
Drainage design
Writing technical reports
Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models
Coordinate with civil, electrical and environmental teams within Westwood
Perform drainage calculations and designs
Write technical reports documenting design methodologies
Assist with site visits and inspections as needed
Support the construction stormwater team with shear stress calculations, exhibit creation and erosion control design
Find and utilize various GIS datasets to support work on water resources are other related projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience with stormwater design and watershed permitting
Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic analyses
Familiarity with FEMA studies
Proficiency in preparing design drawings and producing design calculations
Ability to perform drainage calculations and designs
Experience in writing technical reports
Ability to develop hydrologic and hydraulic models
Experience coordinating with civil, electrical, and environmental teams
Ability to assist with site visits and inspections
Experience supporting construction stormwater teams with shear stress calculations and erosion control design
Familiarity with GIS datasets related to water resources
