Responsibilities
PERFORMS TESTS ON PRODUCT FROM THE OVEN, PACKING LINE, BLOWER TRUCKS, AND RAILCARS
PERFORMS ALL QUALITY INSPECTIONS DURING CIP CLEANING AND QUALITY VERIFICATIONS DURING PRODUCTION
INSPECTS PRODUCT ON START-UPS, SHUTDOWNS, AND DURING PROBLEMS AT EXTRUDERS
INSPECTS OVEN LEG MAGNET
INSPECTS AND RECORDS IN TLC ANY MAGNETS SAMPLES OR FLOUR SAMPLES TURNED IN BY EMPLOYEES
PREPARED TEXTURE VEGETABLE PROTEIN (TVP) FORMULATION REPORTS AND STERILE SAMPLE BAGS
COMPLETES LAB DAILIES FROM CHECKLIST – INCLUDES HOUSEKEEPING TASKS
FOLLOWS ALL SAFETY, GMP, PLANT RULES, AND POLICIES
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR AND/OR PLANT MANAGER
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Attention to detail
Ability to use basic computer programs
Working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
