Responsibilities
Act as the SME for all things mainframe across infrastructure, apps, and vendor teams
Install, configure, tune, and upgrade IBM z/OS + major third-party tools (TopSecret, CA-1, BMC AMI, Endevor, MIM, VPS)
Oversee storage, tape management, and disaster recovery readiness
Drive capacity planning, performance optimization & resource utilization
Perform CICS & JobTrac administration
Evaluate new capabilities including Linux & cloud-ready technologies
Ensure mainframe security compliance with corporate standards
Mentor junior administrators and guide engineering execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
10+ years engineering/supporting large enterprise mainframes
Expert in IBM z/OS administration, performance tuning, installs & patching
Deep knowledge of CICS, JobTrac, IDMS & major vendor tools (CA, BMC, LRS)
Strong understanding of storage/tape systems & replication technologies
Experience delivering services in 24/7, global environments
ITIL experience & strong incident/change/problem management discipline
