Alloy Enterprises is looking for a Production Technician to work within the Part Production team building parts for customers at their production facility. The role involves operating metal manufacturing systems, following safety regulations, and performing quality checks on aluminum parts.

Responsibilities

Operate Alloy’s novel metal manufacturing systems to build aluminum parts which include laser cutting, bonding presses, and sheet handling equipment
Follow company policies and procedures including safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Good Manufacturing Procedures
Review and update manufacturing records and work orders, identify and correct errors, and submit finished documentation for quality release
Perform quality checks and inspections
Inspect final parts, test material properties, and record data
Support troubleshooting efforts
Provide feedback to help make improvements and identify issues - we love feedback!
Support inventory tracking, shipping, and receiving
Other duties as needed

Required

2+ years of work experience, preferably at a manufacturing or technology company
History of completing tasks efficiently, effectively, and with good attention to detail
Experience in a deadline-driven environment
Enjoy working with your hands, tools, and running equipment - mechanically inclined
Experience following procedures and documenting data
Able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs independently, 50 lbs with assist
This position will require access to information subject to control under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”)

Preferred

Familiarity with any of the following is a plus: metrology, 3D printing, robotics, CNC machining, and spreadsheet software
