Responsibilities
Own the Platform Vision: Establish a clear strategy for FanDuel’s developer platform, aligning business objectives and technical strategy, and getting buy-in from key stakeholders
Own the Platform Roadmap: Identify, prioritize, shape, and ensure execution of new products and product initiatives
Champion the Developer Experience: Build empathy for developers through research, feedback, and analytics — identifying opportunities to simplify, accelerate, and standardize the software delivery lifecycle
Drive Adoption: Evangelize new tools and frameworks, ensuring that internal products are well-documented, intuitive, and embraced by engineering and enablement teams
Bias for Execution: Manage competing priorities across teams, ensuring the right mix of foundational investment and fast wins
Measure Success: Establish KPIs to evaluate product performance, usage, and reliability, using insights to iterate and improve
Lead with Technical Depth: Develop a strong understanding of FanDuel’s technical architecture, development toolchain, and infrastructure to make informed decisions
Qualification
Required
5+ years in Product Management, ideally with experience in Developer Platforms, Infrastructure, or Internal Tooling
Proven success building or scaling platforms that enable internal engineering teams
Deep understanding of the developer journey and jobs to be done for developers or DevOps/Infra teams
Ability to inspire and guide technical teams, manage multiple projects, manage competing priorities, and deliver outcomes under pressure
Strong ability to articulate product vision and technical concepts to both engineers and senior business stakeholders
Passion for building customer empathy by understanding developer pain points and designing solutions that make their lives easier and their work faster
