Sourcing the most compelling stories on the platform to pitch to local, regional and national media outlets
Staying abreast of the news happening in designated regions
Responding to reporter inquiries
Supporting the team during every day and in crisis moments
Building connections with media and other key internal and external stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Impeccable writing and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledge of the media landscape
Basic writing and communication skills
Strong desire to help our fundraiser organizers and nonprofits achieve success
Ability to spot a compelling story
