Responsibilities

Act as project lead and coordinate cross-functional participation for deep dive investigations into all aspects of targeted Customer purchasing behaviors

Based on in-depth analysis and an understanding of Customer goals, develop a strategy that delivers strong financial results

Identification of category improvement opportunities and recommendations

Negotiate with suppliers to drive savings opportunities for Customers

Collaborate with Customer Culinary team and Supplier partners to identify product recommendations based on quality, value, yield, application, etc

Work closely with distribution to remove barriers preventing Customer access to Foodbuy programs and increase product availability

Present project findings to Customer, influence buy-in, coordinate implementation, and track results

Required

A minimum of a bachelor's degree

A great attitude – flexibility, optimism, resourcefulness and transparency

Experience of broader aspects of supply chain, as well as providing evidence of a broader business perspective such as balancing cost, value, risk & opportunity

Ability to extract insights from complex data sets using advanced excel skills

Strong negotiation and relationship building

Strong influencing and presentation skills

Capacity to handle multiple changing agendas and identify creative solutions to overcome barriers

High proficiency level with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Ability to travel 10% to 20% annually
