Participate in some teaching of graduate students
Serve as a research mentor for VT graduate, medical and undergraduate students

Qualification

Required

Applicants should have an earned doctorate (PhD, MD, and/or DVM)
postdoctoral research experience
a record of accomplishment of research productivity through high quality publications
a record of successful extramural funding commensurate with the seniority level for which they are applying

Preferred

Applicants with particular expertise and emphasis in cell and gene therapies whether using experimental laboratory approaches and/or computational modeling and informatics approaches are of particular interest for these searches
