Managing Environmental Scientist/Engineer (Ph.D.)

The Managing Environmental Scientist/Engineer will provide technical analysis, support multidisciplinary teams, and develop client relationships within the Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice.

Providing support to clients and to your team in Exponent’s Environmental and Earth Sciences Practice
Supporting multidisciplinary project teams on exciting and challenging projects
Investing in your professional development
Attending conference presentations and participating in journal publications
Expanding your professional visibility
Developing client relationships
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Civil, Environmental or Geologic Engineering, Environmental/Earth Science, Environmental Chemistry, or a related discipline
Three to five (3-5) years of environmental litigation support experience with a consulting company
5+ years of non-academic experience in the field of environmental sciences (consulting experience a plus)
Strong interest in career and professional development within a dynamic consulting environment
Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills
Detail oriented, able to work independently, and manage time effectively
Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
Preferred
Familiarity with environmental chemistry, contaminant fate and transport, and/or allocation is a plus
