LP Building Solutions is a leading provider of high-performance building solutions, and they are seeking a Summer Intern to support their GBS Procurement team. The intern will assist with various procurement tasks, gain insights into the purchasing process, and engage with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Learn and assist with purchase order management, including attending vendor calls
Gain insight into the purchase requisition review and approval process
Help with invoice reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Assist with entering agreements in Ariba
Support Ariba supplier enablement activities and troubleshoot supplier onboarding issues
Assist in vendor setup and maintenance, including collecting required documentation
Attend CAPEX project meetings, including weekly project updates and accrual reviews
Support the team in creating and managing sourcing events
Collaborate with stakeholders to address two real-world challenges facing LP
Participate in peer mentoring assignments and team-building events
Engage with Executives, VPs, Directors, and Managers
Deliver a final presentation to key LP leaders and management at the end of the internship program

Required

Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, or Data Analytics
Must have an expected graduation date of August 2026 or later
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
