Responsibilities

Deliver a cohesive, reliable CoreWeave Cloud API that becomes the foundation for all developer touchpoints (Console, SDKs, CLI, IaC), enabling customers to self-serve provisioning and operations at scale

Deliver an internal API Governance strategy to drive consistency and standardization of our public interfaces, and to increase velocity of internal stakeholders

Drive our IaC-first strategy and enable day-one Terraform support for new GA products, accelerating time-to-first-production for customers and reducing operational load

Establish and meet API reliability goals and partner with production engineering on SLIs/SLOs, observability, and incident response maturity

Shape identity and access management evolution toward unified, fine-grained access policies across products, ensuring consistent authorization patterns and developer experience

Required

10+ years of experience building and operating public APIs and backend services in production, including ownership of reliability and security outcomes

Proficiency in Go and experience with Terraform, protobuf/gRPC and REST design

Strong understanding of cloud computing infrastructure using Kubernetes, scalable architectures, and automation

Strong communication and leadership skills; track record of delivering cross-organizational initiatives as the technical lead

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize problem statements from interactions with customers and design solutions given ambiguous requirements

Solid grounding in CI/CD, testing strategies, and safe rollout/deprecation practices for API changes

Prior contributions to Terraform providers or similar IaC tooling, including registry distribution, versioning, and upgrade guidance

Strong observability skills (metrics, logs, tracing) and practical experience defining API SLIs/SLOs
