Senior Vice President, Java/Oracle HCM Application Development Manager

The Senior Vice President, Java Application Development Manager will lead the HR analytics strategy, manage Oracle HCM reporting, and architect the HR Data Warehouse while applying AI/ML solutions to HR use cases.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end HR analytics strategy and delivery: define HR KPIs and semantic layers, build executive-ready, self-service reporting in Power BI or any reporting, and drive data storytelling and adoption across HR and business stakeholders
Own Oracle HCM reporting and integrations: design and maintain OTBI/BIP reports and HCM APIs, orchestrate secure, automated data pipelines from Oracle HCM into the HR Data Warehouse/Snowflake (or other databases), and enforce PII protection and access controls
Architect and govern the HR Data Warehouse: model core HR domains (workforce, talent, comp, learning), implement SCD and lineage, optimize SQL performance across Snowflake/relational databases, and establish data quality rules, metadata standards, and role-based access
Apply AI/ML responsibly to HR use cases: build solutions for attrition risk, talent matching, workforce planning, and demand forecasting; define model governance (bias testing, explainability, monitoring), and partner with HR leaders on ethical and compliant AI deployment
Deliver full-stack analytics products: lead Angular front-end development, RESTful APIs, and backend services (e.g., Node/.NET/Python) with CI/CD; set engineering standards (testing, code reviews, observability), and ensure reliability, security, and scalability in production

Required

BS required
Advanced degree preferred (MS/MBA) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Demonstrated continuous learning through relevant certifications (e.g., cloud, enterprise architecture, Agile/SAFe, security)
10–15 years in software engineering with 5–7 years leading large, multi-disciplinary application development teams
Proven delivery of complex, mission-critical systems at scale in regulated environments
Strong product and portfolio leadership: roadmap ownership, budget/benefits management, stakeholder engagement, and governance
Track record driving modernization, platform standardization, and risk/compliance alignment while mentoring senior engineers/managers
