Responsibilities

Design and develop plans and drawings
Conduct engineering investigations and planning
Provide engineering services during construction
Research alternative design approaches and regulatory specifications
Develop specifications, permit applications, and reports
Prepare cost and material estimates
Participate in quality control checks
Coordinate with other disciplines and perform field observations

Qualification

PE LicenseCivil EngineeringCAD software proficiencyComplex roadway projectsTechnical writing

Required

B.S./M.S. in Civil Engineering
15+ years of relevant experience
PE License required
Proficiency in CAD and design software (MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer; AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Experience with complex roadway projects and FDOT
