Responsibilities
Offer real-world experience on exciting projects
Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs
Perform other duties as needed
Work on diverse remedial engineering projects that will range from general field support during investigation/construction and soil/groundwater/air sampling to technical work that requires strong communication skills
Assist junior engineers in environmental remediation projects involving feasibility studies, pre-design investigation, remedial design, remedial action, and post construction activities
Complete project subtasks that have clear, specified objectives and limited variables
Interpret data (chemical analyses and historical investigation data) and summarize it in tables, charts, and maps
Perform other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate environmental science, biology, environmental Engineering or related program
Attention to detail
Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred
2.5 years completed toward a degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA
Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study/industry
Preference is given to local candidates
Strong commitment to safety, including following health and safety protocols
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding sampling tasks in adverse environmental conditions (rugged terrain, remote locations, hot and cold temperatures)
