The Oceaneering Technologies division is seeking Engineering Interns to apply their skills in electrical design, technical writing, and assembly support as part of a cross-functional team to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Duties may include the following:
Electrical Design and Schematic Capture (Altium)
Power Budget Calculations (Excel)
Technical Writing (Limited basis in Manuals, Etc.)
Parts Sorting/Organization for Product Assembly
Build and Integration Support
Assembly Support (Engineering Liaison)
Test Monitoring/Documentation (Reports)
Additional duties as assigned

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (as a rising junior or senior) or a Master's degree program
Good communication and organizational skills
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to work full-time during defined internship period
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred

3.0+ cumulative GPA
Academic excellence and community involvement
Familiarity with the application of current engineering software (i.e. Altium, Matlab, LabView etc)
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
Knowledge of power distribution systems
Experience working in a laboratory environment
Experience using test equipment (i.e. Programmable loads, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, etc)
Experience with PCB design
