SENIOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTING MANAGER
Pilgrim's is a leading global food company with more than 62,000 team members worldwide. They are looking for a Senior Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee financial close processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and lead a team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for a global company
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and variance analyses
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX requirements and implement standard changes as applicable
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Delegate tasks and review work for accuracy and timeliness
Implement and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives
Coordinate internal and external audits, including SOX testing
Support budgeting and ad hoc financial analysis
Other reasonable duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
6-8 years accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting
Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP S4/HANA) and advanced Excel skills
Strong leadership, effective communication, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Excellent attention to detail – demonstrated ability to review detailed financial statements with a high level of accuracy

CPA preferred
Prior experience in a publicly traded company or public accounting firm strongly preferred
Experience working with international subsidiaries preferred
Familiarity with SOX compliance, internal control frameworks, and IFRS reporting a plus
