Tax Accountant - Remote/Philippines (Business Focus)
DHA CPAs is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Tax Accountant to join their remote team as a full-time independent contractor. The role involves supporting clients with their tax compliance and planning requirements, managing a portfolio of business clients, and providing expert advice to optimize tax strategies.

Responsibilities
Prepare U.S. business income tax returns (Forms 1120S, 1065, 1120, and applicable state returns)
Assist clients with tax planning to develop effective tax strategies and solutions and reduce tax liabilities through deductions, credits, and incentives
Maintain accurate financial records to support filings
Ensure compliance with individual tax laws and stay current on changes
Communicate with clients, addressing questions and providing guidance
Research tax law updates and adjust strategies as needed
Use tax software and accounting tools to improve efficiency
Uphold ethical standards, including confidentiality and conflict-of-interest policies
Qualification
Required
Professional or bachelor's degree
1-3 years of experience in US business tax preparation (1120S, 1120, and 1065)
Skilled with QuickBooks Online and/or desktop
Proficient in general bookkeeping practices and maintaining financial accounts
Stable, high-speed internet and private workspace required
Preferred
Familiarity with CCH Axcess Tax and/or CCH Engagement
CPA, Enrolled Agent, or similar certification
Experience reviewing business tax returns

9 Paid Holidays (Philippines non-working holidays), including any holidays that fall during the 90-day probationary period
PTO is front-loaded and available to use during the 90-day probationary period
PTO accrues monthly throughout the year (140 hours annually, increasing with tenure)
13th Month Pay – Eligibility begins only after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period. The first 13th Month Pay will be paid out in December 2026 (prorated based on actual months of service in 2026)
