Responsibilities
Partner with product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice throughout the product development process
Advise on regulatory and privacy frameworks applicable to healthcare technology, telemedicine, and AI-powered tools
Draft, review, and negotiate product-related agreements, including licensing, data-sharing, and technology partnerships
Ensure that product launches and updates comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
Monitor evolving laws in technology, AI, and data governance, advising internal stakeholders on risk mitigation and compliance strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape internal policies and best practices around AI ethics, data usage, and security
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on complex legal questions involving technology innovation and responsible AI deployment

Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
8+ years of legal experience, with significant in-house or law firm experience supporting product development and technology transactions
Deep experience advising on AI products, data governance, and emerging technology issues
Strong understanding of data privacy, consumer protection, and healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, FTC, FDA guidance)
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and business leaders in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to balance innovation and compliance in a growth-oriented organization
