Responsibilities
Work with colleagues, contractors and clients to ensure procedures are followed, correct materials are available, project timelines are adhered to, and clients are satisfied
Successfully execute AV install projects from rough-in phase through the finish phase including preparing the project space, running and terminating cabling, setting-up local area networks, and installing devices, hanging TVs, installing speakers, hanging shades, etc
Follow safety practices and procedures, including job site maintenance and cleanliness procedures
Accurately document work and report back to managers
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and interpret construction documentation
Maintain a standard of appearance and behavior that reflects SAV's high-level of professionalism
High School Diploma or GED
Clean driving record
Preferred
Training, education or hands-on experience in the construction, electrical or AV industries
Experience interpreting blueprints, construction plan sets and architectural drawings preferred
Knowledge of structural basics, including drilling studs, beams, etc., and basic installation techniques, including opening sizes and device/component placement
Familiarity with basic wire dress, including final trim lengths, labeling, etc
Familiarity with outside service provider drops including Telco, DSS, ISP, etc
Understanding of low-voltage and signal-flow and wired and wireless networks
