Responsibilities
Identify, research, and resolve level 2 technical problems
Respond to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support
Document, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
Monitor daily backup process
Monitor Anti-virus/Anti-spam server
Telephony duties: Installs telephone/Fax, add users, program voicemail boxes, generate a report on phone statistics, and maintain users on the system
Provide “on-call” support to customers and internal groups
Install and test software updates and patches to support applications and various operating systems
Install PC hardware/software, printers, and other I.T. equipment
Provide problem-solving/troubleshoot
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant technical experience required
Operating System: Windows 7, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP, Linux
Client Application Software: Microsoft Office 2000, XP Office, Telnet, Citrix Client
Email Server: MS Exchange 2000
Anti-Virus: Sophos Corporate
Backup Server: VERITAS Backup
Utilities: Ghosts, VNC Networking: TCP/IP on LAN/WAN environment
Preferred
A+, MCP or related certification a plus
