Responsibilities

Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across SpaceX production and engineering
Create new applications that improve how SpaceX production operates
Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints
Deep dive into users’ problems to find and create efficient solutions
Integrate electronics design software to manufacturing equipment
Display ownership throughout and following the release process for applications

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline
1+ years of experience in full stack development discipline
Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
This position is based in Redmond, WA (Seattle area), and requires being onsite full-time – hybrid and remote work will not be considered
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Preferred

Programming experience in C#.NET, Python, Go, Java or similar object-oriented language
Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts
Expertise in designing software systems
Deep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment & monitoring
Expertise in profiling and improving application performance
Experience with build systems (Make, Bazel) and package management tools (pip, npm)
Experience with UNIX-like operating systems
Experience working with in-stream data processing using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technologies
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Front-end experience in Angular, React, or similar JavaScript framework
Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database technologies
Experience with enterprise grade ERP systems
Experience integrating third-party industrial equipment (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Fuji, Nordson, etc.)
Experience integrating third-party CAD Software (NX, Altium, Xpedition, etc.)
