Responsibilities

Performs all onsite work in a safe manner including lock out tag out, fall protection and confined space entry if necessary. Identifies and rectifies unsafe conditions for themselves and others
Receives instructions, electrical diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and software necessary to perform scheduled, emergency, or routine repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance
Operates standard millwright type equipment including but not limited to drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, lifting/rigging equipment, man lift, and forklift. Supplies usual MW hand tools both metric and SAE
Tests, inspects, dismantles, repairs, replaces, or installs mechanical and hydraulic components, high or low-pressure piping, fittings, valves, cylinders and fixtures, as required for maintenance and construction of pipelines for air, water, solvents, etc
Answers trouble calls, uses troubleshooting ability to recognize and locate faulty equipment. Dismantles, cleans, adjusts, tests and repairs all plant equipment. Suggests preventive maintenance procedures to prevent future occurrences
Using basic PC software, logs all job tasks, work assignments, and corrective actions daily
Repair and maintenance of Spray equipment
Order Spray equipment and parts for Service Center
Assist in selling Spray equipment in market
Aid in managing market spray inventory
Obtain vendor certifications for supporting manufacturers
Repair and maintain market tinting and shaking equipment
Develop exceptional working relationships with regular paint customers and provide excellent service to new customers by offering timely, friendly, and accurate service
May occasionally be called on to deliver product to a customer
Maintain an understanding of local market, operations-based selling, and customer base
Maintain a neat and orderly workshop, keeping interior and exterior functional, safe, and attractive
Maintain Service Center inventory (within market guidelines)
Abide by all company policies and procedures and maintain safe and ethical working environment
Ability to attend to detail while engaging in work of a repetitive nature
Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Good verbal and written communication skills
Must possess a valid Driver's License
Ability to lift to 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 routinely
Requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting, carrying, and reaching
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Access, and Internet applications
If usage of employee’s own vehicle is required for company business, employee must obtain appropriate insurance per company policy
Employee must be licensed to operate vehicle in accordance with state, federal, and provincial law
Must have acceptable driving record from DMV/MTO
