Responsibilities

The Epic Learning Lead II (ELL II) builds upon the foundation of the Epic Learning Lead I role by enhancing training strategies, user engagement, and training program effectiveness
As a key member of Emory Digital, the ELL II collaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop and optimize content for major Epic releases, upgrades, and new Emory-specific initiatives
This role plays a critical part in ensuring that Epic training remains dynamic, data-driven, and aligned with organizational goals
Maintains an ongoing feedback loop program to gather and address user feedback on training
Oversees and maintains the super user program for their application, including providing operational leadership with program information
Participates in professional activities and organizations to stay current on trends, practices, and developments in Epic training and healthcare IT
Manages training projects to ensure business objectives and requirements align with implementation timelines
Utilizes data from various resources to influence decision-making on training needs, improve productivity, and measure learning effectiveness
Understands and applies adult learning theories to the development of storyboards for videos and eLearning content
Works closely with instructional designers to create engaging, competency-based, and instructionally sound education materials
Maintains the appropriate certification for their Epic application to ensure training relevance and accuracy

Required

Associates Degree + Five years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing training, readiness, and change management solutions, or seven years of relevant experience

Preferred

Epic Certification for Cupid is highly desired
Will potentially consider Epic Certification for Radiant in lieu of Cupid
Epic PT Certification for CareLink a major bonus but not required
Experience creating training plans, delivering presentations and/or training classes
Experience using Captivate for content creation
