Responsibilities

Manage and support the planning and design of water and wastewater facilities, addressing challenges such as emerging contaminants and nutrient removal
Oversee diverse projects in water treatment, wastewater treatment, conveyance, and modeling
Serve as a primary client interface, leading workshops, facilitating discussions, and maintaining strong relationships to ensure expectations are met and exceeded
Drive project coordination across disciplines and uphold quality standards throughout all design phases
Mentor engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and collaborative team culture
Contribute to technical strategies and design planning for project pursuits, leveraging client insights to shape innovative solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina or ability to obtain within 6 months
7+ years of experience in detailed design of water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and conveyance systems
Proven ability to coordinate across multiple engineering disciplines

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Experience in construction and startup of water/wastewater treatment facilities
Design experience with advanced wastewater processes
Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in distributed team environments
