Responsibilities
Work with manager to determine a consistent weekly work schedule to fulfill the 24-hour requirement while balancing class schedule
Support sourcing, cost reduction, strategy development, and financial analysis activities in one of the Purchasing organization's functional areas
Gain industry experience and interface with all levels within the Purchasing department
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Ability to work 24 hours per week, year-round
Preferred
Majoring in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field
Currently a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior at an accredited university at the time of hire
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organization levels and with external partners
Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment
Proven leadership in academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, or service organizations
Previous internship/supply chain experience
Strong data analysis skills
Strong interest in the automotive industry and new technologies
Creative and innovative thinking
