Lab Assistant I
The US Oncology Network is seeking a Lab Assistant I to perform routine medical lab tests for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role involves specimen collection, running quality control tests, and maintaining lab facilities.

Responsibilities
Specimen collection and venipuncture
Perform Injections
Maintain daily/weekly/monthly logs and documents
Run daily QC and perform routine maintenance on hematology analyzer for MD or CLS review and approve patient processing
Accept results automatically recorded by the hematology analyzer in LIS for MD review
Perform Quarterly proficiency testing
Perform Waived lab tests
Specimen Handling, processing, and send out to reference labs
Assist bone marrow biopsy, prepare specimen for transport
Maintain orders and supplies
Maintain lab facility
Admin duties as assigned by manager
Qualification
Required
High School or GED required
Completion of Clinical Medical Assistant program with Phlebotomy required
Medical Assistant (AAMA / CMA) CA/National required
Preferred
CA Phlebotomy License preferred
