Preschool Executive Director
Children’s Learning Adventure is a growing company dedicated to providing high-quality early care and education. The Center Director is responsible for the overall operation of the center, ensuring compliance with company policies and state licensing standards while promoting a safe and educational environment for children and families.
Education
Responsibilities
Ensures accuracy and timely collection of tuition in accordance with company policies and procedures
Maintains an accurate financial accounting of the center’s operation and protects the company’s monetary assets
Prepares and forwards accurate payroll, accounting, and operations reports by pre-determined deadlines
Hires and maintains high quality and performing staff
Manages a team of 8 to 12 managers to ensure successful operations of the center
Hires and maintains a teaching staff of over 50
Fills the center to capacity while maximizing the profitability of the operation
Daily attendance should meet licensed capacity
Is available to parents at their convenience—listens attentively to their concerns and takes appropriate action
Ensures retention of students by ensuring quality programs
Tracks all inquiries, converts inquiries into parent tours, and converts tours into enrollments. Accurately reports withdrawals and new starts weekly
Maintains effective communications with families
Conducts parent meetings and other conferences as appropriate
Regularly solicits feedback from parents in order to improve the center
Maintains good working relationships with the licensing board representative and the city health representative
Maintains building, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe environment that meets corporate standards and all regulatory agency requirements
Requires staff to enforce all safety policies and procedures in compliance with all regulatory agency requirements
Implements all standards necessary to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment, including universal precautions
Qualification
Required
The Center Director's qualifications must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for age, education, and experience
Previous experience in a licensed child care center
Bachelor's Degree Required
