Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on park grounds, buildings and equipment
Enforcing park rules/ regulations
Providing assistance to the public
Perform trail and grounds maintenance work
Perform light construction work
Collecting daily parking fees
Supervision of the public who are visiting and using winter sports facilities
Assisting in snow removal
Building and grounds maintenance
Operating the ski rental program
Collecting rental fees
Operating a wood burning stove
Responsible for the operation of the snow tubing lift
Collecting rental/daily user fees
Food preparation
Selling of food and drinks
Cleanup of concession area
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age
Applicants must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Applicants must have a valid Michigan Driver's License
Applicants must have dependable transportation
Employees must be physically able to walk various types of terrain
Employees must handle exposure to all types of weather
Employees must walk and stand for long periods
Employees must have the physical capacity to lift various weights in excess of 50 pounds
Employees must communicate clearly and effectively with the public
Demonstrates effective communication skills by engaging, interacting and working with all individuals to ensure clarity and understanding in all interactions
Preferred
An excellent driving record is preferred
