Responsibilities

Run agarose gel electrophoresis for DNA analysis

Run protein gels for detection and analysis

Prepare and maintain buffers, reagents, and other laboratory solutions

Prepare and sterilize culture media

Grow bacterial cultures for various experiments

Perform transformations

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including electrophoresis chambers, centrifuges, sterilizers, and spectrophotometers

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Document all experimental procedures, results, and observations meticulously

Collaborate with team members to optimize purification processes and troubleshoot issues

Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment

Assist in ordering and inventory management of laboratory supplies
