They are looking for a Marketing and Sales Team Lead who will develop and execute marketing strategies, manage the marketing and sales team, and drive new business growth for their software and engineering services.

Responsibilities
Develops and executes marketing and sales strategies that support Katapult's growth (primary focus on our software Katapult Pro) targets and 3-year vision
Ultimately responsible for new client acquisition and sign ups
Leads, manages, and holds the marketing and sales team accountable for performance and results
Owns marketing decisions while demonstrating sound business judgment and collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization
Increases adoption of Katapult Pro in existing markets while developing go-to-market strategies for new opportunities. This requires a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and industry challenges. You'll immerse yourself in the day-to-day realities of our target customers to build marketing approaches grounded in their actual challenges
Creates and monitors marketing initiatives with clear performance indicators, scorecards, KPIs, and establishing systems to track effectiveness and ROI tied to revenue goals
Builds sustainable marketing systems that generate ongoing customer advocacy rather than relying on one-off campaigns
Develops compelling messaging and positioning that clearly communicates Katapult's unique value proposition to target markets
Confidently represents Katapult in public forums, effectively communicating our value and brand proposition in various settings—from team meetings to industry events
Creates content that sparks organic discussion and encourages natural word-of-mouth promotion
Partners cross-functionally with teams throughout the organization, particularly client success, to drive expansion revenue within existing accounts
Establishes processes for collecting authentic customer success stories and testimonials. Builds relationships by delivering value first, supporting customer success teams in creating exceptional experiences that extend beyond immediate sales goals
Ensures marketing authenticity by aligning our messaging with actual capabilities and deliverables, approaching all marketing activities as opportunities to create genuine value for others
Qualification
Required

Excited about how engineering SaaS can be used to bring reliable utilities to people
Diverse range of experience in digital marketing, either through direct hands-on work or team supervision, with exposure to CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, SEO/SEM strategies, content management systems, and social media marketing
Successful track record in team leadership and development
Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies that continuously bring fresh approaches to maintain market interest and engagement, preventing marketing stagnation through regular introduction of innovative initiatives
Ability to give clear direction for the future to team members
Provide team with necessary tools (resources, training, time & attention)
Ability to appropriately delegate responsibilities to team members
Act with the greater good in mind (company vision lived out day-to-day)
