Responsibilities

Define and own the long-term architectural strategy for the Content Policy Platform, ensuring it supports hyper-scale, low-latency, and high reliability
Drive engineering excellence and operational rigor, establishing standards for performance, resilience, and maintainability across the domain
Function as the primary technical leader, providing deep guidance and mentorship to engineers in the team
Architect and oversee the productionization of advanced ML systems for content maturity labeling and real-time policy enforcement, ensuring robust scalability and observability
Identify, mitigate, and resolve significant risks and technical debt, making strategic trade-off decisions

Qualification

Required

8+ years of experience building and operating hyper-scale distributed systems
Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture and tackling related scaling and reliability challenges
Mastery in a modern OOP/Systems language (e.g., Go, Java, C++) with strong design principles
Experience integrating complex ML/Data pipelines into high-throughput production services
Proven ability to lead technical strategy and influence decisions across multiple engineering teams
Excellent communication skills
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related technical field
