Responsibilities
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement SAP HANA–based solutions aligned with business and performance goals
Developing efficient data models (Calculation Views, SQLScript, Procedures, Functions) that support analytical and transactional workloads
Designing and implementing ETL and data integration processes to load and transform data from multiple source systems
Conducting performance optimization using tools such as PlanViz, partitioning strategies, and indexing
Ensuring data governance, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting technical issues related to SAP HANA configurations, models, or code
Collaborating with data scientists, architects, and business analysts to translate complex requirements into robust HANA solutions
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of XS Classic (XSJS) and XS Advanced (Node.js/Java) frameworks
Hands-on experience with HDI Containers, role management, and privilege configuration
Expertise in OData/REST service exposure, security, and authorization concepts
Experience with migration from XSC to XSA, including refactoring, dependency handling, and deployment pipelines
Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and transport mechanisms (HDI/MTAR)
Ability to design native HANA applications following best practices and integrate them seamlessly with S/4HANA and external systems
Preferred
SAP Certifications in S/4HANA or HANA Development
Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Cloud Foundry environment
Travel availability
Experience with CAP (Node.js/Java), Business Application Studio, and cloud-native development
