The Cybersecurity Group is looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer to champion developer experience by designing, building, and scaling automation that streamlines the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Build and refine CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, secure, and reliable software delivery for services written in Kotlin, Go, Rust, and Python
Develop and maintain internal tools and automation to simplify developer workflows, manage dependencies, and standardize deployments on Kubernetes
Act as a developer experience advocate by actively seeking out and eliminating friction in the engineering workflow from local development to production
Take ownership of projects in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating a proactive approach and a tolerance for ambiguity
Act as a force multiplier by building tools and automation that make developers' lives easier and engineering teams faster
Qualification
Required
5+ years of production experience in a DevOps, Platform, or Developer Productivity role
Deep expertise in modern CI/CD including designing, building, and scaling complex pipelines and developer automation
Production experience with build systems and toolchains spanning multiple languages (e.g., Kotlin, Go, Rust, Python)
Advanced scripting and development skills for building automation and internal tools using Go, Python, or Bash
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) management experience using tools like Terraform
Preferred
Monorepo and Hermetic Build Systems: Experience building artifacts in a monorepo, specifically using Bazel
Container Orchestration: Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization
Data Infrastructure: Experience managing and securing Kafka and Postgres at scale
Advanced Networking: Familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio
Domain Knowledge: General knowledge of cryptography
