Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service (in person as well as by phone and email)
Ensure a safe and smooth arrival and departure of campers
Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely attendance and dismissal records
Contribute to organizing and participating in camp events
Work closely with the Camp Office Manager to efficiently complete administrative projects and tasks
Ensures the cleanliness of the site
Knows, enforces, and follows all safety guidelines associated with camp programs
Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers
Complete required abuse risk management training
Report suspicious and inappropriate behaviors and policy violations
Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements
Adhere to job specific abuse risk management responsibilities
Other duties as assigned

Required

Experience with computers

Ability to work as part of a team for the success of the camp
Must be able to complete YMCA required training as scheduled by management
Maintain updated certifications of the job (CPR and First Aid/AED)
Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
Ability to bend, kneel, push, and pull
Ability to lift up to 25lbs
Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate needs
Ability to view computer monitor for long periods of time
Ability to respond to critical incidents and act swiftly in emergency situations

Preferred

1 year previous customer service, sales or related experience preferred
