Deburr Technician (Additive Manufacturing)

1+ years expFreeform is deploying software-defined, autonomous metal 3D printing factories around the world, and they are seeking a Deburr Technician to play a critical role in the post-processing of metal 3D printed parts. The technician will debur and post-process parts with complex geometries and tight tolerances, using various tools and machines in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Responsibilities
Post process printed parts including depowering, precision cleaning, removing supports, and surface-finishing
Operate, maintain, and monitor machinery such as wire EDMs, surface grinders, sand blasters, deburring tools, bandsaws and handle metal powders
Participate in process improvement efforts to streamline post processing operations to enable mass production
Help turnover builds, ensuring powders, tools, and equipment are available at all times
Assist with visual inspection and shipment of final parts
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in deburring, metal additive post-processing, or similar hands-on precision metal work
Preferred
Experience in operating complex equipment
Skilled with manual machining, welding, cutting, fitting and/or bending of stainless steels, aluminums, and high-strength nickel alloys
Ability to utilize power tools, hand tools, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs unassisted
Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time
Must be available and willing to work overtime when needed
Safety conscience
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
