The Website Administrator and Multimedia Technologist will provide web services and operational support for the museum's Drupal-based website, ensuring its functionality and compliance with accessibility mandates.

Responsibilities

Oversee program development, program implementation and overall functionality associated with the Museum's mobile application of media technologies

Provide day-to-day operational support for the Museum's website in collaboration with the Smithsonian's central Office of the Chief Information Officer and in compliance with accessibility mandates

Perform system design, web application baselining, testing, quality assurance, Search Engine Optimization, IT security vulnerability remediation, implementation, and documentation

Serve as a contracting officer's representative and technical point of contact for contracts and task orders related to maintaining and enhancing the website

Consult across a broad range of graphics, video, audio, mobile, streaming, and other multimedia technologies

Required

One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-XX level in the Federal Service
