Responsibilities

Managing the agency's Asset Management Program to include attaining, obtaining, receiving, transferring, excessing, reutilizing, repairing, disposing, and retiring of various types of property
Serving as facilities coordinator, and facilitating repairs and ensuring facility repairs requests are entered into the facilities management system
Assists in implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a variety of requirements and activities affecting organizational activities and operations
Performing ongoing mentoring, training and guidance to peers, colleagues, employees and supervisors; assisting with developing and recommending solutions to a range of operational and technical issues to evaluate and improve services and processes, responsible for implementing new related policies and procedures

You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service
Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years

Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process
Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 12/03/2025
Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet the requirement for specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as conducting local records management and producing various reports, conducting various environmental, security, and safety inspections, managing inventories, records management, and providing training in accordance with local and higher directives, compiling and analyzing data to identify trends, deficiencies, and accomplishments related to the assigned programs, and making decisions on problems presented by staff
All employees new to the federal government must serve a one year probationary period during the first year of his/her initial permanent federal appointment to determine fitness for continued employment
You may be required to serve an 18-month probationary period upon appointment to this position
All newly appointed, first-time CBP Supervisors are required to complete mandatory CBP Supervisory Leadership (SLT) training
