Responsibilities
Grind, file, or sand surfaces of metal items, utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines
Examine surfaces in order to find defects
Remove defects and smooth uneven surfaces
Clean and organize work area
Adjust and troubleshoot machine as needed
Follow all Senior policies and procedure
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Degree or General Education Degree (preferred)
MUST be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed to meet specific deadlines
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to apply a general understanding to carry out detailed, written and oral instructions
Ability to deal with and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Must exercise good judgment and initiative where appropriate with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Must have high attention to detail and accuracy
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others
Willing to assist others outside the realm of the job when needed
