Responsibilities
Operate machinery in accordance with required specification
Load and unload materials into machines
Produce the required quantity of parts with the established specifications and tolerances
Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure that proper setup and alignment
Perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance
Monitor machine during operation to ensure they are running and make any necessary adjustments as needed
Troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to minimize disruption with production needs
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility
Familiarity with machining tools and equipment
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, both verbally and written
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating needs
Strong organizations skills
Attention to detail and time management skills
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperature varies depending on the season
Ability to show up for work on time and work a flexible schedule as needed to meet production needs
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds
Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination to operate machinery
Ability to work in a production environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to machining fluids
Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching to adjust machines and perform inspections
