Primarily responsible for monitoring services and providing community support services and therapeutic services

The BHC uses a basic knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness and knowledge of medications, side effects and benefits to provide services in a person-centered, supportive, community-based environment

The LPC is monitored by periodic supervision

Required

Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field

If a new graduate, supervised-post graduate counseling experience (internship) with specified direct client contact under the supervision of a board-approved supervisor. Otherwise, 1 year of experience
