Corporate Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

Safety: Adheres to Arclin’s safety culture
Reliability Analysis: Conduct reliability assessments and failure analyses to identify weaknesses in systems and processes. Utilize reliability metrics to evaluate and improve system performance
Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement predictive maintenance strategies and technologies, including but not limited to, vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and oil analysis to preemptively address potential issues
Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed analyses of equipment failures and process breakdowns using methodologies such as FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
Maintenance Strategy Development: Develop and optimize maintenance strategies including preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance programs. Work with maintenance teams to ensure these strategies are effectively executed
Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and process efficiency. Implement best practices, new technologies, and innovative solutions to achieve reliability goals
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to equipment performance, reliability, and maintenance. Prepare detailed reports and scorecards to communicate findings to stakeholders
Collaboration: Work closely with and influence cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and maintenance to address reliability issues, share knowledge, and implement solutions
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, reliability studies, and improvement initiatives. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible
Training and Support: Provide training and support to maintenance and operations staff on reliability practices, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
CMMS: Drive the utilization of Arclin’s CMMS to ensure the sustainability of the maintenance processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering (ABET accredited)
5 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or a related field in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in failure analysis and reliability assessments
Proficiency in reliability engineering tools and methodologies
Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and techniques
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences and demonstrated ability to influence at all levels
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional initiatives

Preferred

Professional certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in manufacturing environments
