Improve the reliability, security, and efficiency of all services and controls owned by the team, meeting GCP's high engineering and operational standards

Define and execute the BYOID goal, strategy, and multi-year roadmap, aligning with customer needs and the broader Google Cloud security strategy. Provide technical direction and architectural guidance, ensuring designs are scalable and resilient

Lead, mentor, coach, and grow a high-performing engineering team

Partner effectively with cross-functional teams across GCP to deliver integrated solutions. Influence and align with executive stakeholders

Drive the development life-cycle for scalable services, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery and operational excellence. Stay current with the latest industry developments in Identity and Cloud Security

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)

3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects

2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization
