LifeCheq is transforming financial advice across emerging markets through its technology platform. As the Adviser Growth Lead, you will spearhead the adviser recruitment and activation engine, designing and executing growth strategies to scale LifeCheq's adviser program.

Responsibilities

Own the Adviser Acquisition Funnel
Design and execute multi-channel growth strategies to massively scale LifeCheq's adviser program
Build and optimize the complete funnel from lead generation through training and placement with franchise partners
Run data-driven experiments across digital campaigns, referral programs, and real-world events
Drive Multi-Channel Campaigns
Execute innovative online/offline campaigns targeting career-changers with the right core skills
Leverage social media, partner networks, community events, and search to generate robust pipelines
Continuously test and optimize channels for maximum conversion and ROI
Build Thriving Adviser Communities
Create engaging forums, mentorship programs, and recognition events that drive retention and referrals
Foster a sense of mission and belonging that makes our program aspirational
Travel regularly to major metros for career fairs, info sessions, and recruitment events
Optimize Through Data
Apply hypothesis-driven approaches to identify funnel drop-off points and opportunities
Build predictive models and run A/B tests on campaigns, landing pages, and email sequences
Report on key metrics and ROI to senior leadership
Cultivate Strategic Partnerships
Collaborate with industry associations, career transition programs, and educational institutions
Work closely with internal teams (Product, Training, Key Account Managers) and franchise partners
Negotiate partnerships that unlock high-quality adviser talent pools

Required

5-10 years in growth, marketing, or business development, preferably in startups or fast-growth environments
Proven track record of building something new from scratch and driving user/revenue growth
Hands-on experience with digital marketing campaigns (Facebook/Instagram Ads, Google Ads, email marketing, CRM)
Equal parts data scientist and creative marketer - comfortable with Excel modelling and campaign design
Entrepreneurial spirit with relentless drive to achieve ambitious goals
End-to-end campaign management across multiple channels, including community-based growth strategies
Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working cross-functionally and managing external partnerships
Valid driver's licence and comfort with field engagements across the country
Passion for our mission of democratising financial advice
Thrives in fast-paced, experimental, remote-first culture

Preferred

South Africa-based (Cape Town, Johannesburg, or Durban preferred)
Willingness to travel within SA
